Welcome Erica!

Hi I'm Erica. My family started going to church when I was in 1st grade, but I didn’t really develop a personal relationship with God until the summer going into my eighth grade year. I was at a retreat, and experienced God’s presence for the first time. He became tangible to me. Since then I have been actively pursuing God. I got more involved in the church and youth group right away. God has blessed me with an amazing friend that has helped me grow in Him. We hold each other accountable and have faced challenges together. I think the most important thing in my walk with God has been striving for constant growth. The fight against complacency is a constant battle. I have been in places where faith became routine. It is a boring place, and difficult to get out of. But let God challenge you. Right now I am trying to weekly look at something new and specific that God has taught me. I hope this will help me to acknowledge His amazing presence in my life more consistently. I'm a junior in high school.
